Thanksgiving is almost here! As of today, you're 10 days away from delicious Thanksgiving food. Which, of course, also means that it's time to put together that perfect outfit for your Thanksgiving dinner party. Whether attending your own family dinner, your significant other's dinner, or a friend's, you'll want to be dressed for the occasion.

Most Thanksgiving dinners are pretty casual, but some can be more dressy, so make sure to find out the dress code ahead of time. If you'd like to go with a nice pair of jeans or pants and sweater, last week we showed you our 5 favorite sweaters for holiday parties (or gift giving!). Rocking a dress is always a go-to option, as well, though, so today we're showing our our 5 favorite dresses for a thanksgiving dinner (which are of course also perfect for any other holiday party you may have coming up). These dresses are all conservative enough for a family dinner, while still being so on-trend. Check them out below!

Lace Fit And Flare Dress

Black lace is always a staple for the holidays, and we love it in this Long Sleeve Lace Mini Dress. This lace dress features a sexy illusion back, long sleeves, and a v-neck with a keyhole. Classic LBD

This is definitely a dress that you can easily wear time and time again, from Fall and Winter right into Spring and Summer.

Everyone's been talking about our new Miss America 2016, Betty Cantrell. She stunned all of the judges during the 95th Annual Miss America pageant, and all eyes are on her to see what she has planned for changing the world during her reign. Her operatic singing was obviously incredible, but there's one thing from the pageant that we're still totally obsessing over: the dress that she won her crown in!

Did you recognize the gown she wore on her big night? The Miss America 2016 winning dress is by one of our very own designers: Panoply, which is part of House of Wu! Former Miss Georgia wore Panoply style 44284, a stunning two-piece evening gown that features an off-the-shoulder 3/4-length sleeve trimmed in bugle beads and AB stones. The skirt on this gown is a very fitted mermaid in Mikado that starts with a beaded waistband and flows into a generous explosion of a two-tiered mermaid skirt, and finishes with a sweeping train.

This two piece mermaid gown is such a glamorous look for not only a pageant, but for homecoming or prom, as well. And, with winter right around the corner, this is also a great choice for winter formal events... because it never gets more classy than winter white! While watching the Golden Globes is so much fun, the party (and stunning looks) never end at the awards show. The fun always continues at the after-parties, and all the celebs have even more gorgeous looks to show off! The looks worn at this year's Golden Globes after parties were just as stunning as what was worn on the Golden Globes red carpet.

While we're obsessing over so many of the outfits, there's one that stood out from the crowd for us: Selena Gomez's sleek and sexy plunge neck gown! We love the idea of rocking white well past the summer months, so to see Selena stand out in white during a winter awards show gave us the chills (in a totally good way, of course)!

Selena rocked the sexy plunge of this dress in such a classy way. She kept the accessories simple (and classic with a gold purse), and we love how she topped the whole look off with a soft red lip color. This look screams old Hollywood to us!

Our favorite party, though? That you can easily rock this look for prom! Go with Jovani 22884 to get the same exact sleek and sexy white plunge neck gown look. It's a sexy jersey gown that features a plunging neckline and a low open back. Choose the Off White color to get Selena's look, or go with one of the three other colors this classic dress comes in: Navy, Black, or Red. Which ever color you choose, this is a dress that will definitely have you feeling like a celebrity walking the red carpet!

With Christmas less than a week away, you can guess that this week's Dress of the Week post is dedicated to being Christmas party ready! And, there is definitely no better dress to pick than Scala style 47631 for such a holiday event. Why? Because the dress comes in the two most important colors of the holiday: red and green!

That's not the only reason why we love this dress for a Christmas party, though. It's a classic (and classy) style cocktail dress that can easily be dressed up or down, depending on how dressy your holiday party is. Not only that, but this dress features an open back, cap sleeves, and an all over beaded bodice, which are all such on-trend styles right now!

It can be difficult to find the perfect dress to wear to a Christmas party, as you really want to make sure you choose an appropriate style that doesn't show off too much skin. Best yet, this dress also comes in colors black, ivory, navy and sand, so if you don't want to wear the classic Christmas colors but love the dress, there's definitely plenty of colors to pick from! With all of the colors that you can choose from, also a great dress for a New Year's Eve party. We'd recommend rocking it in navy or black for NYE. White would also be a fun choice for NYE if you really want to stand out, especially with how popular the Winter White trend has been!

Miley Cyrus and her older half-sister Brandi Cyrus stunned all as a matching duo at the 2013 American Music Awards this past weekend, because they were both looking so sheek in white! Miley Cyrus may be the star of the past few months, and she did look so lovely in her white suit, but we're so in love with Brandi's long sleeve cocktail dress.

White has been so in this year, and people will be wearing it well into the colder months. And,  Miley and Brandi definitely wore the trend perfectly! But, Brandi's look had us thinking of the Holidays, because her short number is definitely a perfect look for not only the AMAs red carpet, but for a Holiday party, too!

Say YES to White after Labor Day!

Lots of rule-breaking trends this season, including the always infamous no white after Labor Day rule. These rebellious celebs are going against the rules of fashion by keeping white throughout the fall and winter. It's all about how you accessorize and the type of fabric.

This is one trend you can use for your next formal event; it's definitely perfect for the Holidays. If anyone comments that you're not supposed to be wearing white, they're just not up on the latest fashion trends!

Wearing the color white is usually reserved for the summer months, but this year it's been given new life, with celebs and fashionistas wearing the color well through the winter! Taylor Swift has been seen wearing the color at a handful of red carpet events, with her rocking the color most recently at the Grammy Awards.

While it's not the most practical of colors, we love white because it brings elegance to any outfit. When it comes to wearing it, don't try to match shades - embrace the subtleties that comes with wearing pure white vs. ivory vs. cream, and don't be afraid to match different textures and fabrics. Don't wear white tights with the outfit, otherwise you risk starting to look like a ghost! Most importantly, any questions alluding to Labor Day are best simply ignored - they clearly just aren't a fashionista! Wear the color with confidence and pride.

If you have a formal party to attend soon, it's definitely a great color choice to feel part of the Winter Wonderland with all the snow that's been falling lately! Tony Bowls TS11368 is perfect if you're looking for a short prom dress or cocktail dress for a Winter Formal. It's a strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline, silver studded bodice, and a gathered illusion skirt.

For the ball gown look, check out Tiffany Designs style 16901. It's a strapless sweetheart ball gown with an iridescent stacked sequin bodice, a chunky A.B. rhinestone belt, and a full tulle ball gown skirt. It's a true princess gown!
