With Star Wars Day is officially here (May 4th)! We know many girls are still on the hunt for their perfect prom dress, so we wanted to send out some good vibes today. So, without further adieu... May the Force (ahem... May the FOURTH!) be with you in aligning the stars and finding your perfect prom dress today. In the words of Yoda, "Find your prom dress, you will."

Since today is also Manciure Monday, we're definitely feeling the force in putting together a Star Wars inspired prom look! We found some Star Wars nail art looks we loved on Pinterest, which you can see above, and we paired it with a prom dress that is so Star Wars worthy: Scala 48435! The stars (and galaxies) will align for the perfect evening gown when you slip into this electrifying creation. Radiantly lustrous material is overlaid by intricate patterns for a richly textured look, and glittering sequins add a healthy dose of glitz. From its sweetheart neckline to its sweep train, this gown reminds us of the beauty of the stars above.

Even though you probably won't be rocking Star Wars nails at prom, we thought this Scala prom dress was the perfect way to bring a little geeky inspiration to the dance floor. That's not to say we'd totally be all about rocking a bold nail look like the ones above at prom! After all, prom night is all about you - be comfortable and confidence in whatever outfit you choose.

Or, if you want to bring some Star Wars fun to After Prom, we love Faviana 7210 in gold because it reminds us of C-3P0! The foil jersey dress material glistens just like C-3PO.... in a totally sexy way in this case, of course! This dress used to be $278, but is now on sale for only $194.99 (with only a few left), so it makes for a super affordable After Prom dress that you can easily wear again for many other events.

We're not the only ones (still) obsessing over all of the gorgeous Oscar gowns and how we can easily get these celebrity looks for our own formal and semi-formal events! The whole internet is abuzz talking about their favorite red carpet looks, with one of the most recent news outlets talking about how to get Oscar gowns being CBS' show Inside Edition. In the below video, Inside Edition takes you through their favorite 87th Academy Awards looks and how you can get a much cheaper, but just as pretty dress for your own parties.

1. Get Jennifer Lopez's Oscars Dress with Mori Lee 97092

While this is the only dress that we don't have the exact version that's mentioned in the video, since it's a bridal dress, we do have the prom dress version: Paparazzi by Mori Lee 97092. It's a crystal beaded evening gown with a sheer beaded back and flowy chiffon skirt. At only $398, it's not only cheaper than Jennifer Lopez's $22,000 dress, but also less than the $900 bridal version!

2. Get Lupita Nyong'o's Oscars Dress with La Femme 20147

Lupita Nyong'o were a unique all pearls Calvin Klein dress that cost $10,000. Get her beautiful pearl look with La Femme 20147. It's an elaborate halter mermaid gown with a layered tulle skirt. The body of the dress is nude lining covered by white lace. Pearls and iridescent stones adorn the neckline and are scattered throughout the dress. At only $450, it certainly beats Lupita's $10,000 price tag!

3. Get Rosamund Pike's Oscars Dress with Mori Lee 97112

We loved the scalloped accents of Rosamund Pike's Academy Awards dress! Inside Edition's interpretation of the Gone Girl actress' dress at a much more affordable price was Paparazzi by Mori Lee 97112.  It's a stretch lace on shoulder gown with scattered beading accents and a front slit. At only $430, we couldn't agree more with Inside Edition that this dress is as equally as stunning as Rosamund's $53,000 Oscars dress.

4. Get Dakota Johnson's Oscars Dress with La Femme 21011

It's all about that stand-out one shoulder with Dakota Johnson's red carpet look! Capture her look with La Femme 21011. It's a unique one shoulder net jersey dress with a sweetheart neckline. The bodice is gathered and features sheet cutouts adorned with rhinestones. The strap is sheer net embellished with rhinestones, as well. Dakota's scarlet dress was $30,000, but this La Femme dress is only $350!

5. Get Jennifer Aniston's Oscars Dress with Scala 48421

Last, but certainly not least, is Jennifer Aniston's Academy Awards 2015 dress. Get this Oscars look with Scala 48421, a beautifully beaded $358 dress that's just as stunning as Jennifer's $40,000 dress.

We can't believe 2014 is coming to a quick end, and 2015 is almost here! We're sure you're deep in holiday 2014 shopping, but Pantone, the world-renowned authority on color, is one step ahead of you and is ready to bring on 2015! Pantone has named its Pantone Color of the Year 2015 recently, and it is... Marsala!

Never heard of the color Marsala before? It's a deep red that will surely get you even more into the Holiday 2014 mood! Pantone describes it as:

"A naturally robust and earthy wine red, Marsala enriches our minds, bodies and souls....The impactful, full-bodied qualities of Marsala make for an elegant, grounded statement color when used on its own or as a strong accent to many other colors."

Whether rocking this color for the holidays, prom, or any other semi-formal or formal event, this is definitely a color to stand out in. Leatrice Eiseman, the Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute, described, "Marsala is a subtly seductive shade, one that draws us in to its embracing warmth." Thanksgiving is almost here, and that means it's time for family get-togethers and late night parties with friends. So, to make sure you're ready in a perfect outfit, we picked out some of our favorite dresses that will effortlessly take you from a more traditional family event, to a night out with friends. Check out our Thanksgiving dress up ideas below!

You can never go wrong with a little black dress at any event, and this is one LBD that we absolutely love! Style D15016 is a jeweled neck cap sleeved party dress that's such a versatile pick. The cap sleeves make it so easy to wear to a family party, while the dress is just so cute and chick that it can take you anywhere in style! This is a great dress to wear throughout the Holiday season - from a Thanksgiving get-together, to an office holiday party, or even to a New Year's Eve party! A gorgeous vine pattern of beaded embellishments flows throughout the dress and on the wide open, sheer sleeves. The charcoal color and leave pattern of this dress reminds us so much of a fall November night!

The 2014 Golden Globe Awards were held this past weekend, and with comedians Amy Poehler and Tina Fey as the hosts, it couldn't have been any more fun to watch! This was the 71st Annual Golden Globes, which celebrates the best in TV and film over the past year. You can read about all of the winners on the Awards page of the Golden Globes website, but just to list our favorite win of the night: Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture - Jennifer Lawrence for American Hustle!

Now, to the good stuff: the red carpet fashion, of course! From our favorite winner of the night, Jennifer Lawrence's white gown, to Leslie Mann's lace peplum dress, to Kaley Cuoco's elegant floral gown, there were so many gorgeous looks worn last night. With Christmas less than a week away, you can guess that this week's Dress of the Week post is dedicated to being Christmas party ready! And, there is definitely no better dress to pick than Scala style 47631 for such a holiday event. Why? Because the dress comes in the two most important colors of the holiday: red and green!

That's not the only reason why we love this dress for a Christmas party, though. It's a classic (and classy) style cocktail dress that can easily be dressed up or down, depending on how dressy your holiday party is. Not only that, but this dress features an open back, cap sleeves, and an all over beaded bodice, which are all such on-trend styles right now!

It can be difficult to find the perfect dress to wear to a Christmas party, as you really want to make sure you choose an appropriate style that doesn't show off too much skin. THIS IS Especially important if it's a party where you will be around your family members!  That's another reason why Scala 47631 is so perfect when it comes to the holidays - the length of the dress and cap sleeves make it so appropriate for any event, showing off just the right amount of skin. We'd just also recommend to bring a cardigan, just in case you feel like it would be good to also cover up the dress' open back. Plus, with the colder weather, it's always safe to have a cardigan with you!

Best yet, this dress also comes in colors black, ivory, navy and sand, so if you don't want to wear the classic Christmas colors but love the dress, there's definitely plenty of colors to pick from! With all of the colors that you can choose from, also a great dress for a New Year's Eve party. We'd recommend rocking it in navy or black for NYE. White would also be a fun choice for NYE if you really want to stand out, especially with how popular the Winter White trend has been!
