Everybody remembers their prom. Whether it was a good or bad, it's always a memorable experience. Ever wonder what kind of experience celebrities have? You would think that after doing so many red carpet events and shows, they would have forgotten about their prom night. Seventeen Magazine asked celebrities like Selena Gomez to spill the beans about their own prom experience. You're going to be so surprised at what these celebs reveal...not everyone had a good time!

Shay Mitchell from 'Pretty Little Liars' confessed about her break up right before prom! She didn't find a date in time but had a great experience going with her friends. Shay didn't go all out for her prom dress and borrowed her accessories from her mom...but made sure she got new fab shoes.

"I bought nice, crystal shoes—you have to get something that makes you excited. It doesn't have to be expensive, but I really did feel like a princess putting my shoes on!"

Selena Gomez ended up crashing a prom in Canada with her co-star - Demi Lovato - during their premiere of Princess Protection Program. Here's what she said about their unforgettable "prom night":

"We had an after-party at a hotel. I kept hearing dance music, so I peaked into the ballroom and there was a prom going on! I ran upstairs and got Demi. Then we walked into the ballroom onto the dance floor and just started dancing. After a couple songs, people started to notice we were there. I got scared I was going to get in trouble, but all the students let us dance with them. Even the principal came and started dancing with us!"

'Glee' actress Jenna Ushkowitz had a terrible experience! Here's what she spilled about her prom night:

"My prom was awful! The prom was supposed to have a beach-front view, but there were no windows! It was a big let-down. My advice is to go into prom without super high expectations and you'll get the most out of it!"z

'Switched at Birth' star Katie LeCler had an awesome time! It's great to hear about an amazing  prom experience. Here's what she had to say about her fun prom night:

All of the stars were out last night on Jan. 9th for the 2013 People’s Choice Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, and we loved seeing them arrive on the red carpet! While everyone at Rissy Roo's unanimously agreed that Ian Somerhalder was our fave celebrity that walked the red carpet, we were of course also amazed at how beautiful all the ladies looked! Although they’re not as glitzy as The Oscars, the Teen Choice Awards always bring best dressed celebrities out for a night of fun.  This year’s stars were no exception, strutting their stuff on the purple carpet at last night’s Teen Choice awards.

Selena Gomez celebrated her birthday last night in a pink, Dsquared2 short dress paired with cream Herve Leger heels, while Carly Rae Jepsen’s outfit would leave most calling her definitely!  Glee star Lea Michele looked amazing in her Versace dress with matching heels and we’re telling the truth when we say that Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale really rocked her bright Wes Gordon dress.

Although most critics are still debating whether or not Demi Lovato's Falguni + Shane Peacock dress was a hit or a miss, we give her credit for picking such a unique frock!  Taylor Swift certainly takes the crown though for her breathtaking ensemble, a stunning Maria Lucia Hohan gown with Prada Heels.

(July 23rd, 2012):  Last night’s Teen Choice Awards recognized some of the most popular performers from the past year.

New X-Factor judge Demi Lovato, along with Glee’s Kevin McHale (Artie), hosted the event which presented awards to celebs from TV, film, and the music industry.  With over 134 Million votes cast online, the 14^th annual Teen Choice Awards had the most audience participation to date!

Top winners included The Twilight Saga stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, who accepted the “Ultimate Choice Award,” completely amazed that their films have hauled in 41 Teen Choice Awards over the years.  The Hunger Games kept up with their competitors, racking in several awards including choice sci-fi movie actress, villain, actor, book, and movie of the year.  Emma Stone stole audience hearts, winning both comedy and drama actress of the year for her hit films Crazy Stupid Love, and The Help.

Top TV winners included stars from The Vampire Diaries and Pretty Little Liars, while the Choice TV Comedy award went to Glee.  Music superstars Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift didn’t leave empty handed either, grabbing three coveted surfboards each.   Carly Rae Jepsen’s catchy “Call Me Maybe” song won for choice song of the summer, and the singer herself was very excited to have also won the breakout artists of the year award.
