With the year coming to a close, another 2017 awards ceremony is now but memory. The 45th Annual American Music Awards took place on November 19, 2017 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. It was hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross.

With the 2017 AMAs being the last awards show of the year, the pressure was on for celebrities to make best dressed lists. Outfits had to be on-point and paired perfectly with accessories, hair, and makeup. With the pressure so high, celebs either end up succeeding with flying colors or totally missing the mark. Best Dressed at the 2017 AMAs

Tracee Ellis Ross

With Tracee Ellis Ross hosting the event, of course she is number one on our AMAs Best Dressed list. Our favorite look of hers for the night was the gorgeous burgundy sequined gown she wore on the red carpet.

Corrine Foxx is taking the fashion scene head-on this year! If you haven't heard this name yet, she is actor Jamie Foxx's daughter. Earlier this year, she walked the Sherri Hill runway to show off the designer's new Spring/Summer 2018 collection. Now, she's walking award show red carpets... right next to her big-time celebrity dad, of course.

Do you recognize the jumpsuit she's wearing? If so, that's because she's rocking another one of your favorite dress designers: Jovani! The halter jersey jumpsuit she's wearing is Jovani 50908. Selena Gomez

Selena went for full-on rock star at the 2017 American Music Awards. We loved her leather jacket inspired dress, and her brand new blonde hair! The black stilettos and clutch and red lips were the perfect way to finish off her rocker-chic look.

Worst Dressed at the 2017 AMAs

Yara Shahidi

While we love all that sparkles, actress Yara Shahidi has a lot going on with her AMAs look. The combination of collared shirt, dressy shorts, trench coat, and knee-high socks with heels looks more like a totally funky day-out-with-the-girls outfit, rather than a red carpet outfit.

Madeleine Petsch

Black dresses are perfect for any event, but there's a little too much going on with Madeleine Petsch's black dress. A black dress is all about classic elegance; keep it simple, rather than trying to fit every trend, like feathers, lace, illusion, deep v-neck, etc, all into one dress.

Sabrina Carpenter

We love Girl Meets World star Sabrina Carpenter, and she usually has such great style! But, she may have gone a little overboard with taking a cue from the funky styles she wears on Girl Meets World with her AMAs looks. While it's always fun to add a touch of uniqueness to your looks, keep it within limits for semi-formal and formal events.

Julia Michaels

We're not sure if Julia Michaels is trying to dress up as Lydia in her wedding dress from the Beetlejuice movie, a Christmas present, or a loofa Halloween costume! Either way, while bold red is a totally great color choice, the excessive layers of tulle are a little much.

Rene Bargh

We love army green, but it may be misplaced at a formal event, especially when paired with a statement belt like on Rene Bargh's AMA dress.

Remember, whether on the best or worst dressed list, there are always style cues you can take and incorporate into your own outfits. So, even if there are certain elements of the worst dressed looks you loved, don't be afraid to incorporate them into your next outfit! After all, the most important thing in dressing up is choosing something you're comfortable and confident in.

The 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards were held on April 29th at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, with so many of Disney's most celebrated celebrities in attendance. With the celebs dressed in their best, of course, some of our favorite dress designers could be found on the red carpet. One of those designers was Johnathan Kayne!

The trio of sisters Southern Halo rocked the red carpet in Johnathan Kayne, and looked so gorgeous.

Jimmy Kimmel certainly made for a hilarious night, hosting the 89th Academy Awards on Sunday, February 26th at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. From surprising a group of tourists by bringing them into the theater to meet their favorite celebrities, to re-creating a famous scene from Lion King, to tweeting the President, to his always spot-on humor, he had us smiling and laughing, a perfect balance to some of the awards winners bringing us to tears with their acceptance speeches.

While we loved the show, as always, our eyes were glued to the red carpet. The 2017 Oscars had so many gorgeous looks, but there were two celebrity looks in particular that we were obsessing over: Emma Stone and Jessica Biel. They both wore shimmery golden dresses that were reminiscent of the golden oscar award every nominee was hoping to claim as their own. Check out what they wore below and how to get their looks for prom!

Emma Stone at the 2017 Oscars

Actress Emma Stone wore a pretty gold gown with beautiful embroidered details and fringe, reminiscent of dresses from the roaring 1920s. She let the stunning dress speak for itself by keeping the jewelry to a minimum, only accessorizing with a ring and statement earrings. She topped the look off with bold red lips.

Get an elegantly patterned look like Emma's Oscar dress with Intrigue by Blush 315, an eccentric gown that's covered in an intricate design of glimmering sequins. The fitted bodice has a sweetheart neckline, just like Emma's dress, and sequined spaghetti straps, which cross-cross over an open back for a totally unique look. The column skirt grazes your curves, giving off a similar silhouette to Emma's Oscars look, then drapes into an elegant train.

Jessica Biel at the 2017 Oscars

Actress Jessica Biel went all-in with gold, rocking a floor-length gown with long sleeves. The beautiful sparkly dress was topped off with a gold purse and gold choker style necklace. because her accessories were as bold as her dress, Jessica kept her makeup simple, with a soft pink lip.

Sparkle just like Jessica at the Oscars with Primavera style 1743. Style 1743 is a uniquely beaded and sequin floor-length gown that features long sleeves and a train, just like Jessica's dress. Add more gold by pairing with a purse like La Regale RL50011 Mini Mesh Wristlest, or keep the accessories more simple and rock bold makeup and nails like in the photo above.

A gold dress is certainly a perfect choice for prom if you're looking to feel like a starlet on the prom dance floor. Whether you dress up the look with bold makeup, like Emma, or bold accessories, like Jessica, you'll be shimmering all night long.

The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards were certainly a site to be seen for the red carpet, with Miley Cyrus as the host this year. The musician wore some of the craziest and totally fun outfits that we've ever seen her wear, and it seems like the celebrities knew what they would be in for with Miley, following suit with some pretty unique outfits themselves. So, there were so many outfits that were off the charts that you could only wear to an event like the VMAs. There were a few celebrities, though, like Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez who kept it totally classy, as usual, and we're totally loving their looks for other formal events like Homecoming and Prom.

While we loved Tay Swift's custom herringbone two piece jumpsuit, we're especially obsessed with her BFF's look, Selena Gomez. Why? Because she work a very classic long sleeve black gown. During an event where most lady celebs were testing limits concerning how much skin they could show, Selena kept it totally classy.

Our favorite part about Selena's 2015 VMAs look, though, is that it's a look that you can easily take a cue from for your own formal events! The 87th Academy Awards wasn't all about the film stars. This year's awards ceremony was also about one of our favorite dress designers: Mac Duggal. The dress designer himself walked the red carpet in style at one of the hottest parties of the night, the Annual Warner Brothers Mansion Oscar Viewing Party. Not only did he dress some of the hottest stars of the night, but he was also there to walk the red carpet with his wife.

That's not the only reason the 87th Annual Academy Awards were all about Mac Duggal, though. Many of the celebrities at the Oscars were wearing his dresses! The 2014 Academy Awards were undoubtedly completely transformed by his glorious designs and elegant styles. Check out some of the celebrities that wore Mac Duggal on the Oscars red carpet below.

Keltie Knight

Hosting the Oscars red carpet for The Insider, Keltie Knight looks amazing in Mac Duggal style 40380. In such striking colors of red and black, it's no wonder that this long prom dress is a red carpet gem!

Joslyn Davis

Getting ready for her ClevverTeVe Oscars Recap, Joslyn Davis looked gorgeous in Mac Duggal style 4037! This edgy Mac Duggal dress has sparkling sequins that glimmer from the v-neckline down to the bottom. Lightly gracing the straps and the back, sheer illusion material is speckled with more sequins. More sheer illusion paneling is revealed along the sides with light amounts of sequins for an added touch of sparkle. We love this look for an after prom, homecoming, or New Year's Eve dress!

It's time to unveil our choices for the "best-dressed" list at the 68th Annual Tony awards, which took place live Sunday, June 8th at Radio City Music Hall in New York City! Being one of the glitziest and glamorous nights for those on Broadway, The Tony awards are always a thrill in fashion to see what celebrities nominated, present, and just attend as guests, decide to wear to this spectacular show!

Even though she was just presenting, our favorite Shameless starlet, Emmy Rossum, took home the award for best dressed in our eyes! She was purely elegant and divine as she shined in a silver Ralph Lauren Collection gown with a ribbed bodice and flowing satin skirt. Her old Hollywood waves and red lip tied together the look into pure red carpet perfection!

From totally "Frozen" to on fire in a radiant reddish fitted Zac Posen trumpet dress, Idina Menzel set new fashion strides for herself! She looked absolutely amazing in this gown and her makeup was flawless, as well. Even though she didn't take home the Tony for Best Actress in a Musical, she did give a spectacular performance on stage and looked beautiful doing so!

Last, but most certainly not least, our final best dressed of the evening came out on top with not only looking gorgeous, but for bringing home the Tony award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical award for ‘Hedwig and the Angry Inch’. That's right, Lena Hall shocked the red carpet in a dramatic midnight-blue Zac Posen gown along with edgy accessories, straight bangs, and bright red lips! Way to kill it Lena, this was definitely your night!

It looks like one of our favorite designers is conquering the world one day at a time! Famed dress and evening gown designer Johnathan Kayne is keeping busy this April, making a splash where ever he goes! He began the month featured at Nashville Fashion Week's closing night and the entire JK team partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to make a girl's dream come true! Together, they had 14-year-old Esperanza Montalvo live her lifelong dream of becoming a runway model as she strut the catwalk with Johnathan during the closing night finale! The crowd was cheering while Esperanza wore a gorgeous pink strapless gown, Johnathan Kayne style 409, on the 45-foot catwalk. What a dream come true!

Keeping busy, Mr. Kayne went from Nashville to Las Vegas to dress celebrities for the American Country Music Awards! Song of the year winner, Lee Brice wore a custom Johnathan Kayne tuxedo jacket with leather accents and brass detail. Lee's wife Sara was also dressed in a Johnathan Kayne gorgeous sparkly gold gown, and won one of People Magazine's top ten best dressed! Get her look with these Johnathan Kayne gold dresses.

The 2014 ACM Awards have come and gone, and they were so much fun to watch! It was held this past Sunday, April 6th, in Las Vegas. This year, the Academy of Country Music celebrated their 50th year, and it was done in such style.

Of course, as usual Miranda Lambert was the belle of the country ball, but she does a good job showing her humbleness no matter what. The country queen took home three trophies at the ACM Awards this year, saying "I cannot believe this; I really didn't expect it." Congrats, Miranda!

Her trophies weren't the only bling she was rocking at the awards ceremony, though. She looked so glam in her nude sparkly dress rocking the ACM Red Carpet. The tight v-neck spaghetti strapped dress fit her like a glove, and we are in love with the sparkly sequins on it!
