Back in April, we asked Prom attendees to submit a Prom Picture for our Prom Picture Promotion. We awarded all participants who submitted their picture a $25 gift certificate to shop on RissyRoos.com or at our Rissy Roo’s retail location. The response to the promotion was so overwhelming that we decided to enhance it by announcing that we would be crowning a Rissy Roo’s Prom Queen 2012 by June 15. Just like any Prom, our Queen was voted in, and the girl whose photo received the most “Likes” on our Facebook page was crowned Rissy Roo’s Prom Queen 2012. That girl was Kelsey Elbon of Woodstown, NJ with a record-breaking 673 votes!
Kelsey, who posted an enthusiastic “Yaaaaay! 
” on Facebook after hearing the news that she’d won, will be receiving a dress from Rissy Roo’s equaling up to $250 in value along with the title of Prom Queen. The contest garnered over 3000 total votes from around the world and was an all-around success. It will undoubtedly become an annual event.
