Adele's voice is pure gold. From "Hello" to "Someone Like You," she has an incredible sound to her that most singers, no matter how talented, would never begin to attempt to mimic. Except for one... the talented Demi Lovato, of course. The singer is currently on her tour for "Future Now: The Tour." During her Cleveland performance on Friday, September 2nd, Demi surprised and stunned the audience with a cover of Adele's "When We Were Young."
Youtuber JWBGSU explained that while on stage, Demi explained that she had a special treat for Cleveland and that she wanted to sing one of her favorite songs. But, she had never sung it before. In true Demi fashion, she went on to sing the emotional ballad "When We Were Young," and it was obviously amazing. Check out a video of the performance below.
In just one week, the fan-uploaded video of Demi's performance already has over 700,000 views. A sign of just how incredible Demi's version of Adele's song is.

The below video was actually the original debut of the "When We Were Young" song, back in November 2015.
Adele's "When We Were Young," off of her new album 25, is about love lost and time passing. Listening to the lyrics can certainly bring you to tears (especially with singers like Demi and Adele), thinking about past friendships and relationships, how time has passed, and learning to let go.
